From it’s humble inception in 2018, Eureka Taxis Western Victoria Pty Ltd has grown from strength to strength as the only locally owned and operated independant tyaxi transportt provider.

Inception: Eureka Taxis was founded by a single driver with a strong commitment to providing reliable and efficient transportation services to the Ballarat community. The founder recognized the demand for quality taxi services and began operating with a single vehicle, focusing on exceptional customer service and safe transportation.

Expansion: As word spread about the high-quality service offered by Eureka Taxis, the demand for their services grew. The founder decided to invest in additional vehicles, expanding the fleet to include sedans for individual passengers and SUVs to accommodate larger groups or passengers with extra luggage. This expansion allowed Eureka Taxis to cater to a broader range of customer needs. 

Diversification: Eureka Taxis continued to innovate and diversify its services to remain competitive in the evolving transportation market. Recognizing the need for even larger capacity vehicles, the company introduced Maxi Taxis and Wheelchair Access Vehilces *WATs) to the fleet. Maxi Taxis are designed to transport groups of people, making them ideal for events, airport transfers, and other occasions where multiple passengers travel together. WATs are designed for transporting person or persons confined to a wheelchair.

Technology Integration: To enhance customer convenience and streamline operations, Eureka Taxis invested in technology solutions. They developed a an online platform that allowed customers to easily book rides, track their assigned vehicle, and even estimate fares. In 2023 Eureka Taxis started building its own Android / iPhone app which is sceduled for release in 2024. This technology also improved fleet management, dispatching, and driver coordination.

Driver Network: As the fleet expanded, Eureka Taxis recruited and trained additional drivers. They emphasized driver professionalism, safety, and adherence to company values.
